I’ve been very busy as school came to a close, but now it’s finished with a bang, I can get back to what I love! Projects! This week I’ve been working on a client project Raspberry Pi datalogger and Arduino compatible hall effect sensor speedometer!
It’s very near completion and so yesterday, I began work on the project everything I’ve done was building towards: The Bluetooth, phone-connected smart watch! (\o/) Making use of a Femtoduino BLE for bluetooth low energy integration, a 1.5″ color OLED display with microsd card, a vibration motor, a navigation switch, a 500mah LIPO battery, and some snazzy graphics and functionality you’d expect from a high-end smart watch, but as a (hopefully) low cost open source project! Here’s the latest board layout! (no Femtoduino BLE yet)
This project’s going to be the greatest thing ever, I can’t wait!
I’m also going to start on the OLED Watch v4.1 writeup as many have asked/shown interest for it, so I’ve taken some great photos and will aim to have that up as soon as I can!
Get back to you soon!
